With a face carved out of granite and a just-out-of-jail demeanor, it’s no surprise that Mr Trejo has lived a pretty hardcore life (as related in the biographical documentary ‘Champion’). He became a champion boxer while serving a 10 year prison sentence before becoming a favourite of Robert Rodriguez including his lead role as a vengeful federale 'Machete’.
